Formulation & Filling Specialist - North Carolina - 12-24 Months

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Formulation & Filling Specialist to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in North Carolina, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.


Primary deliverables of this project:
  • Oversee and support the qualification and validation of parenteral formulation and filling equipment.
  • Develop and implement control systems to monitor equipment performance, ensuring alignment with GMP and operational standards.
  • Create and manage technical documentation (change controls, qualification test cases, etc.) for the start-up and operation of formulation and filling lines.
  • Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends and optimise equipment efficiency, helping the production lines achieve ramp-up targets.

Must have experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in parenteral or aseptic manufacturing, with direct involvement in formulation and filling processes.
  • Expertise in parenteral formulation and filling equipment (e.g., isolators, vial filling machines, syringe filling equipment).
  • Strong understanding of GMP, process flow documentation, critical process parameters, and master formula instructions.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis to optimise equipment performance.
