E&I Construction Manager - Dusseldorf - Large Pharmaceutical Company - 12-Months 

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Dusseldorf. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Cleanroom Construction Manger to join their team.

The E & I Construction Manager will oversee the electrical and instrumentation aspects of the construction of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role involves managing the project from inception to completion, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the E & I construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with designers, specialty consultants, trade subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Director on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.

Requirements
  • Major CAPEX/ greenfield project experience throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Experience in local authority interface.
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation systems in pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
