Design Coordinator - Ohio, USA - 12 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Coordinator to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

What you'll do:
  • Serve as liaison between design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure scope alignment, schedule accuracy, and delivery readiness.
  • Review construction schedule to identify potential design or procurement gaps that could delay field activities.
  • Work with EPCM and design teams to prioritize design deliverables and ensure drawings/specifications are issued to support construction sequencing.
  • Validate that RFPs accurately represent scope, quantities, and deliverables consistent with design intent and site execution needs.
  • Coordinate responses to field queries (RFIs, design clarifications, change requests) and facilitate timely closure.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Requires extensive experience on large-scale CAPEX projects (>$500M) within pharmaceutical, biotech.
  • Strong understanding of design and construction workflows, procurement sequencing, and engineering documentation.
  • Previous EPCM or Owner’s Representative experience preferred.
