Process Piping SME - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Piping SME to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

What you'll do:
  • Provide technical and field oversight for all process and utility piping installations, including stainless steel high-purity and black utility systems (WFI, clean steam, process gases, and solvents).
  • Verify installations are executed to design drawings, specifications, and ASME/GMP standards.
  • Monitor weld mapping, testing, flushing, and passivation, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate with EPCM, contractors, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to manage construction quality and turnover readiness.
  • Participate in field walkdowns, punchlist generation, and closure for process and utility systems.
  • Oversee test pack development, review, and approval, ensuring all documentation aligns with system boundaries and turnover requirements.
  • Support system prioritization, sequencing, and turnover strategy to commissioning and operations.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering preferred. Equivalent field experience accepted.
  • Requires extensive experience on large-scale CAPEX projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, or semiconductor facilities.
  • Proven expertise in process and utility piping systems including high-purity (orbital welded) and black utilities.
  • Strong understanding of ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, and other relevant standards.
  • Demonstrated experience with QA/QC documentation, test pack management, and commissioning readiness.
  • Familiarity with GMP and cleanroom standards.
