Construction Engineer (CSA) - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Engineer (CSA) to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

What you'll do:
  • Provide field oversight of all civil, structural, and architectural construction activities, including foundations, steel structures, slabs, envelope, and architectural finishes.
  • Verify that installations meet design specifications, drawings, codes, and GMP/Owner standards.
  • Track daily progress, monitor contractor productivity, and escalate schedule or quality concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process disciplines to avoid interferences and maintain work sequencing.
  • Participate in RFI resolution, field design clarifications, and technical query management.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Construction Engineering preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Requires extensive experience delivering large-scale CAPEX construction projects within pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or advanced industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of concrete, steel, envelope, and architectural systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret design drawings, assess constructability, and manage inter-discipline coordination.
  • Knowledge of GMP, cleanroom envelope construction, and turnover documentation requirements preferred.
