CQV Utilities Field Engineer - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CQV Utilities Field Engineer  to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute installation verification (IV) and operational verification (OV) protocols for utility systems.
  • Support the development, review, and execution of OV test scripts in line with project requirements.
  • Assist in developing startup logic, handover sequencing, and turnover packages.
  • Perform startup activities including flushing, pressure testing, passivation, chemical cleaning, and system livening.
  • Collaborate with vendors during equipment/system startup and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and site safety practices.
  • Interface with construction, QA/QC, and CQV teams to ensure smooth system turnover from construction to commissioning.
  • Document all execution activities in alignment with GMP and project standards.
Skills and Experience:
  • Requires extensive experience in commissioning/startup of utility systems such as WFI, clean steam, plant steam, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, or process cooling water.
  • Proven field experience executing IV/OV protocols and startup activities in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with system turnover processes (MC, IV, OV, SAT).
  • Strong understanding of LOTO procedures and construction safety.
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary project teams during construction and startup phases.
