Construction Manager - Limerick, Ireland - 12 Months Initial Contract

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the World. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a global pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in the picturesque Limerick. 

What you'll do:
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. 
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in line with company and statutory requirements. 
  • Demonstrate, promote, and acknowledge positive behaviours to develop a proactive safety culture on site. Identify and prevent unsafe behaviours and defects. 
  • Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project. 
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Construction, Civil or related field).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Manager, ideally in the biopharma or life sciences sector.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams. 
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and technical drawings.
