New long term contract opportunity for a Cloud Administrator to work onsite in Valencia, Spain OR fully remotely in the CET time zone.

You'll join an international unit and be responsible for delivering AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform) cloud technical expertise, including implementation and on-going support of AWS & GCP solutions. English is the main language and we're looking for someone to onboard in March or April 2024 for an initial 6 month contract that will likely extend for 2-4 years or longer. Single stage interviews will happen in February.


As Cloud Administrator you will:
  • Administer and support AWS & GCP solutions with a focus on IaaS and PaaS.
  • Review technical requirements to deploy and support cloud platforms and infrastructures.
  • Work in close collaboration with the remaining cloud teams in the operational activities.
  • Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Development, Service Management, etc.
  • Draft technical documentation on the AWS & GCP services. 
  • Keep abreast of AWS & GCP good practices, new trends and services technologies and evaluate these for possible adoption or incorporation.

You MUST have the following skills and experience:
  • Understanding of AWS & GCP service structure (organisations, accounts & projects) plus AWS & GCP core features.
  • Knowledge of key AWS & GCP IaaS and PaaS services (compute, networking, storage, databases and containers).
  • Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, Shell scripting, AWS & GCP Automation).
  • Hands-on experience in managing Landing Zones.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS & GCP cloud security.
  • Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques including systems configurations, clustering, networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), monitoring, security, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Good English communication skills.
