Quantity Surveyor - US, Ohio - 12-24 Months Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct daily field walks to validate installed quantities across CSA, MEP, utilities, and process systems.
• Independently verify contractor percent-complete assessments prior to pay application approval.
• Cross-check installed work against IFC drawings, BOQs, and contract scope.
• Identify discrepancies between reported progress and actual field conditions.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience on large-scale capital construction projects ($500M ).
• Significant construction site experience — not solely office-based cost control.
• Proven ability to physically validate installed work and progress in the field.
• Extensive experience reviewing and negotiating contractor change orders tied directly to construction conditions.
