Site Electrical Engineer – Ireland, Roscommon – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Site Electrical Engineer to support the delivery their project based in Roscommon. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and sustainable operation of all electrical infrastructure at our manufacturing site.
• Lead the implementation of our client’s electrical engineering standards into all capital and RTB projects.
• Develop, support and provide electrical design, construction and verification deliverables in accordance with project scope, schedule, and applicable standards, including technical and commercial documentation, technical input and expertise.
• Establish standards for electrical systems and technical documentation relating to electrical systems, meeting applicable industry best practice, national codes and client engineering requirements.

Experience required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8) or related discipline.
• Extensive  experience in an electrical engineering role within industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated environments.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities on live sites.  
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and working in regulated manufacturing facilities desirable.
