Project Engineer - Spain, Madrid - Long Term Contract

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a well established European pharmaceutical manufacturer in Madrid? Our client is a long standing CDMO with multiple production sites across Europe, supporting a broad portfolio of healthcare partners and delivering high quality medicines to global markets.
They are currently investing heavily in modernising and expanding their Madrid facility, creating an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to play a key role in strengthening their project based in Madrid.

What you’ll do:

• Support day‑to‑day engineering activities on site, acting as a works supervisor.
• Use AutoCAD (2D) and, where applicable, assist in reviewing 3D models (Plant3D/Revit) to interpret
  existing designs.
• Carry out drawing mark‑ups, update simple layouts, and support design revisions under direction of senior engineers.
• Accurate interpretation of 2D drawings and 3D model views to support installation work.
• Updated redlines/mark‑ups for as‑built documentation

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in engineering within an industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from 2D AutoCAD drawings; familiarity with basic 3D model views (Plant3D, Revit) is a plus.
• Experience supporting site works, supervising contractors, or coordinating small installation/modification projects.
• Good understanding of mechanical/industrial systems, utilities routing, or equipment installation workflows.
