CAPEX Project Manager (Utilities) - Spain, Madrid - Long Term Contract

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a well‑established European pharmaceutical manufacturer in Madrid? Our client is a long‑standing CDMO with multiple production sites across Europe, supporting a broad portfolio of healthcare partners and delivering high‑quality medicines to global markets.

They are currently investing heavily in modernising and expanding their Madrid facility, creating an exciting opportunity for a CAPEX Project Manager to play a key role in strengthening their project based in Madrid.

What you’ll do:

• Lead utilities-related CAPEX projects, including PW, wastewater, nitrogen and methanol-related systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, QC, Production, HSE) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee installation of new production equipment (pellets machine, capsule filler) and building modifications.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, schedules, reporting, and project risk in a live manufacturing environment.

What you’ll need:

• Strong utilities/CAPEX experience in pharma, biotech or chemical manufacturing environments.
• Proven background managing PW, wastewater or process-utilities projects.
• Experience with equipment installation (tanks, fillers, dryers, nitrogen/solvent systems).
• Fluent Spanish essential; English desirable.
