Process Hazard Analysis Facilitator - Ohio - 12 months
Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.
We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Process Hazard Analysis Facilitator to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.
What you’ll deliver:
- Define and maintain the review structure: Keeps the team aligned on the PHA scope, nodes/sections, methodology, assumptions, and ground rules.
- Guide the team through the methodology: Leads HAZOP, What-If, checklist, LOPA-related discussions, or the applicable PHR approach without letting the meeting drift.
- Draw out the right expertise: Ensures operators, engineers, process safety, automation, maintenance, and other SMEs contribute where their knowledge is needed.
- Challenge the analysis appropriately: Asks probing questions about credible causes, consequences, safeguards, failure modes, human factors, facility siting, emergency response, and prior incidents.
- Maintain consistency and quality: Helps ensure risk ranking, safeguard credit, recommendation wording, and documentation are applied consistently across the review.
What you’ll need:
- Extensive process safety / process hazard analysis experience or transferrable prior experience.
- Engineering Degree or transferrable prior experience.
- CCPS Certified Process Safety Professional— preferred, not required.
