Quality Inspector Mechanical (Wet Systems) - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct daily field inspections of equipment installations to verify compliance with drawings,
  specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and approve mechanical QA/QC documentation including installation records, test reports, redlines, and as-built drawings.
• Identify, document, and track mechanical non-conformances (NCRs), supporting contractors with corrective actions.
• Perform system walkdowns and generate punchlists to support energization and turnover readiness.

What you’ll need:

• Experience inspecting equipment installations on large-scale capital projects.
• Ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on equipment inspection or QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Experience supporting documentation and turnover readiness.
