Field Network Engineer

Field Network Engineer - France, Lille - Permanent Contract

New opportunity for a Field Network Engineer to take on a permanent role in Northern France, with related travel requirements around the country. Our client is a growing brand in the datacentre market with a key on AI cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work use your network and infrastructure experience to identify, troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues at various datacentre sites, working alongside expert colleagues covering hardware and software and AI environments.
 
What you’ll do:

• Supporting the deployment of new infrastructure for existing and upcoming sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network-related issues.
• Manage and coordinate remote IT operations.
• Travel for on-site installations and technical support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external contractors.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in technical problem-solving as a Field Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of network technologies, including data center, server and network equipment.
• Proficiency in IT hardware components, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and French language would be an asset.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business trips.
