Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Act as Owner’s Representative to ensure the Electrical Contractor’s work complies with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and communication systems.
• Attend daily/weekly field coordination meetings with trades to resolve design discrepancies and integrate electrical systems with other disciplines.
• Document construction issues, RFIs, plan deviations, and corrective actions within the project’s documentation system.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience as a Field Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar construction oversight role on large-scale capital projects ($250M ).
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices (NEC, NFPA, OSHA).
• Hands-on experience with power distribution systems, low and medium-voltage, and communication systems.
