DeltaV Standards Automation Engineer

DeltaV Standard Automation Engineer - Dublin - 12 month contract

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join one of our industry leafing clients in Ireland.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for maintaining and updating DeltaV site automation standards on site.
• Work with Global Automation on alignmentsupdates to common Library standards
• Develop control strategies using DeltaV tools (Function Blocks, SFC, etc.).
• Design and implement batch processes using ISA-88 standards as required.
• Configuration & documentation of (ISA-88/S88 standards).
• Strong focus on batch automation standards for manufacturing pharma, biotech.
• Collaboration with Automation Engineers to align standards.
• Must have good experience working with a regulate environment.
• Work within regulated environments, delivering software under site change control.
• Support Continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Automation Engineering.
• Extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.
• Strong understanding of process control, instrumentation, and industrial networking.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharma, biotech) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with 8CADA, PLCs, and OPC communications is a plus.
