QCS Staffing recruits Self-Propelled Modular Transporter professionals across petrochemical, nuclear, offshore and civil infrastructure projects, from SPMT Operators managing Scheuerle, Goldhofer and Cometto multi-axle configurations at £350 per day to Senior Transport Engineers and SPMT Project Managers developing ballast calculations, route surveys and load-out procedures at £600+ per day, across contract and project-based positions throughout the UK and internationally.
The roles we handle require specific heavy transport knowledge: hands-on SPMT operating or engineering experience on major industrial or infrastructure projects, familiarity with abnormal load movement planning and hydraulic load distribution calculations, and in many cases active experience on tidal window load-outs, nuclear module moves or civil infrastructure beam installations where timing and precision are programme-critical. If you have operated or engineered SPMT movements on petrochemical, nuclear or offshore projects, we know which heavy transport contractors are currently mobilising crews for North Sea decommissioning load-outs, which nuclear new build programmes are scheduling major module moves, and which infrastructure projects need SPMT resource at short notice.
