Technical Project Manager - US, Chicago - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Chicago, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Senior PM in leading the delivery of the program through Design / Construction / CQV, working closely with Project Technical Leads, Area Leads, and Subject Matter Experts to deliver the project.
• Support establishment of the overall technical direction of the projects in the following areas:Process Equipment, Automation & IT Digitalization, Built Environment, Critical Utilities, Warehousing & Logistics, Laboratories, Effluent Treatment and Sustainability.
• Accountable for delivering a holistic, integrated and compliant engineered solution to meet business needs and the agreed asset operational performance criteria.
• Develop Project Support Plan ensuring SME’s are identified and secured for all stages, develop resource budget and provide input into funding at each stage.
• Lead Design Assurance Process planning, ensure reviews are completed and technical KPI’s are reported monthly.

 What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience managing large-scale capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Technical Engineering background with hands on experience supporting Design, Procurement, Construction, CQV and handover.
• Proven experience leading multi-discipline EPCM or D/B project teams.
• Strong background in construction management, process engineering, or CQV.
• Excellent understanding of cGMP requirements and regulated facility design.
