Site Safety Lead - France, Toulouse - 6 Months Initial Contract

Our client is a global CDMO who are scaling multiple facilities in the coming years as they strive to become a market leading operator within their specialism.

Working as our clients new Site Safety Lead, you will play a crucial role within their growth and expansion plans, supporting existing facilities and projects. This will be on a 6 month contract on their site based near Toulouse. The successful candidate will be joining a company with global reach offering a rewarding career within a cutting-edge life sciences environment.

What you'll do:
  • Be a part of the site leadership team
  • Oversee process safety analysis - systematic review of industrial processes to identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards that could lead to incidents like fires, explosions, or chemical releases – HAZOPs etc.
  • Lead communication with authorities
  • Support the 60mn investment project from a safety perspective: over 100 contractors currently on site and safety culture could be improved
What you'll need: 
  • Requires extensive experience in safety leadership Chemical manufacturing / background
  • Ability to oversee process safety analysis, lead communication with relevant authorities and oversee project safety
  • Confidence implementing and maintaining site safety practices
  • Understanding of French Regulations and how to adhere to them
