Senior Structural Engineer - Netherlands, Eindhoven - Permanent Contract

QCS staffing are partnered with a leading independent company who combine engineering, design and consultancy services with software and technology to deliver complex projects across the globe. Our client’s projects include those in the Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, FMCG, Infrastructure, Transport and Water sectors to name a few.

To support with these projects and their continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Senior Structural Engineer in Eindhoven.

What you’ll do:

• Handling and developing technical questions from our clients in collaboration with the Consulting Engineer.
• Communicating and collaborating with colleagues and third parties on (part of) the structural design.
• From a technical and budgetary perspective, you ensure that your own processes and activities comply with established principles and the quality system. You also consult internally on this matter.
• Checking calculations and drawings of colleagues or third parties.
• Oversee your own project administration and archive project documents.

What you’ll need:

• A completed university degree in Construction or Civil Engineering , with a specialization in construction or structural design – as a solid foundation for in-depth technical insight.
• Extensive experience at a consultancy or engineering firm, necessary to independently take responsibility for complex industrial projects.
• Experience with calculation programs such as SCIA Engineer or RFEM, essential for testing and optimising designs.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English (preferably bilingual).
• The ability to transfer knowledge and experience, so that you can guide colleagues and contribute to the development of the team and the quality of the work.
