Our client is rapidly emerging as a leading provider of advanced Cloud & AI infrastructure for global innovators.
As they continue to grow, they’re hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support their project.
What you’ll deliver:
- Lead mechanical engineering due diligence and feasibility assessments for data centre, colocation, and build-to-suit infrastructure projects, validating cooling strategies, equipment selection, and overall site suitability.
- Evaluate and develop mechanical system designs, including liquid cooling, air cooling, hybrid cooling solutions, chiller plants, and CRAH/CRAC configurations to support high-density computing environments.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks by ensuring mechanical assumptions, capacity planning, budgets, schedules, and equipment strategies are aligned prior to project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams to establish technical standards, maintain design integrity, and support successful project handover into construction and operations.
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 8+ years of experience in data centre mechanical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong technical expertise in cooling system design, including liquid cooling, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC systems, capacity planning, and mechanical equipment selection for high-density facilities.
