Senior Engineer – Permanent – Watford, UK -  Data Centres - £25-30k p/a

We are currently supporting a specialist engineering and project delivery company supporting mission-critical construction and infrastructure projects across complex technical environments. The organisation provides installation, coordination and engineering expertise to help deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on schedule.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current project in Watford.

What you’ll do:

• Join existing installation teams with the installation of hot and cold aisle Join existing installation teams with the installation of hot and cold aisle containment & security caging systems on projects throughout the UK and internationally.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members supporting their professional development.
• Work alongside senior engineers and team leaders to ensure installations are completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Support the assembly, fitting, and adjustment of containment systems in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Carry out site duties as instructed while maintaining a professional and safety-focused approach.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience within engineering, construction, mechanical installation, or data center environments.
• Previous experience working in installation teams.
• Strong Understanding of hot and cold aisle containment systems, security caging and data center working environments.
• Proven ability to take the lead when requested/required by Team Leaders.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
