Senior Electrical Engineer - Remote in Europe - Contract

Our client is rapidly emerging as a leading provider of advanced Cloud & AI infrastructure for global innovators.

As they continue to grow, they’re hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support their project.


What you’ll deliver:

• Lead electrical engineering due diligence and feasibility assessments for data centre, colocation, and critical infrastructure projects, ensuring power capacity, distribution, and utility availability meet project requirements.  
• Evaluate and develop electrical infrastructure strategies, including medium-voltage distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N).
• Identify and mitigate technical risks by validating electrical design assumptions, equipment availability, capacity planning, budgets, and schedules prior to project execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, utilities, vendors, and commissioning partners to establish engineering standards, support project development, and ensure successful transition into delivery.

Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 8+ years of experience in data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale power infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage electrical systems, utility interconnections, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, power distribution, and redundancy strategies.
• Proven experience carrying out technical due diligence and assessing the electrical feasibility of sites, facilities, or infrastructure projects before investment or construction commitments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and influence technical and commercial decision-making.
