Quantity Surveyor - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract

With major capital investment experience driving various facility build projects. This is a unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a global leader in the life sciences market and play a key role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.

What you'll do:

  • Manage all commercial and financial aspects of the multi-million euro construction project.
  • Review the EPC contract and ensure adherence to commercial terms.
  • Develop detailed budgets and cost plans. Provide accurate monthly cost reports (CVR) and reliable cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on work delivered and review invoices and interim payment applications for contractors, ensuring fair valuation of work and materials.
  • Identify, mitigate, and report on commercial risks and opportunities.
What you'll need:
  • Requires extensive, proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major capital projects of similar budget and size.
  • Expertise in cost planning, budget control, and contract administration within industrial, pharmaceutical, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Management.
  • Strong knowledge of international or German construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC or VOB) is advantageous.
  • Experience with Greenfield facility builds and the commercial demands of complex technical spaces is advantageous.
