Quality Piping – US, Ohio – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Quality Piping to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:
  • Overall quality of piping fabrication, welding, and system installations from construction through startup and turnover.
  • Compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes and standards, and owner quality requirements.
  • Implementation and consistent execution of project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality management system processes.
  • Complete lifecycle management of quality issues, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, verification, and closure.
  • Accuracy and completeness of quality records, turnover packages, and supporting documentation.
What you’ll need:
  • Provide field quality oversight for piping fabrication, welding, and installation throughout construction, startup, and turnover.
  • Perform and review weld inspections as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), including visual weld inspection, review of NDT results (RT, UT, PT, MT), and verification of welder qualifications and welding procedure specifications (WPS/PQR).
  • Perform routine inspections, audits, and field walkdowns to verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Review and implement project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and turnover requirements.
  • Monitor piping fabrication, welding, joint fit-up, NDT, flushing, passivation, and pressure/hydrostatic testing activities.
