QC Analytical Chemistry Specialist - Ireland, Cork - 12 Month Contract

Our client is undergoing major growth, supported by substantial investment aimed at increasing its overall manufacturing capacity in the medical device sector. Recent upgrades include the development of new, advanced automation systems and additional infrastructure enhancements designed to meet growing global healthcare demands.

With a long‑established presence and a highly skilled workforce, the site requires the role of a QC Analytical Chemistry Specialist to join their project based in Cork.

What you’ll do:

• The QC Analytical (Chemistry) SME will provide hands‑on analytical chemistry expertise in support of manufacturing operations, technology transfer, and project‑driven validation activities at the Cork site.
• The primary purpose of the role is to execute and technically own QC analytical activities, including analytical method transfer and validation, laboratory instrumentation readiness, and analytical troubleshooting, ensuring robust GMP compliance and project delivery.
• This is a delivery‑focused contract role, requiring active execution, authorship, and technical problem‑solving rather than purely advisory or oversight responsibilities.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical diagnostics environment.
• Demonstrated hands on QC analytical laboratory experience, including: Analytical method validation and/or transfer, Use of chromatographic and analytical instrumentation
• Practical working knowledge of: cGMP, Data Integrity principles, 21 CFR Part 11 as applied to laboratory systems
• Experience supporting project, tech transfer, or validation activities is strongly desirable.
