Information Scientist (Content Analytics) - UK, Slough - 12 Month Contract 

We are looking for an experienced Information Scientist for a fantastic 12 month contract based in Slough.

You will be working with our client who are a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

What you’ll do:

• Apply information science expertise and AI-enabled tools to extract insights from biomedical literature and external data sources.
• Translate scientific and business questions into effective information and content strategies.
• Use AI tools to support discovery, summarisation, and sense-making rather than developing models.
• Operate at the intersection of information science, analytics, and responsible AI adoption.
• Enable R&D teams to work more efficiently and effectively with large volumes of content.

What you’ll  need:

• Experience or interest in NLP and LLM applications (transformers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering).
• Familiarity with data visualization and scientific communication tools.
• Knowledge graph and ontology management.
• Python and AI frameworks for text analytics.
