Data Center IT Manager - Data Centres - Paris - Permanent

They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Data Center IT Manager in Paris.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage IT support team to deliver infrastructure support and meet KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve technical challenges.
  • Create clear documentation for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Plan and execute regular IT tasks to maintain and optimize infrastructure operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT hardware issues to ensure continuous data center support.
  • Oversee installation, upgrades, and dismantling of hardware based on operational needs.
  • Manage asset tracking and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
What you’ll need:
  • Extensive experience managing IT teams and resolving server hardware issues.
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, server, and network equipment principles.
  • Practical experience in project planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology and ITSM processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Linux and command-line tools.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware, enterprise-grade network switches, and fiber optics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
  • Proactive, responsible, and goal-oriented approach to work.

The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of all information related to specific data centre projects. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the implementation of information management and design standards, ensuring successful delivery at each stage.
