Data Center Delivery Manager - US, Alabama - Permanent Contract

QCS staffing are partnered with one of the world’s top AI infrastructure companies. As an organisation, our client are leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Data Center Delivery Manager based near Alabama.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee all phases of data center construction, from design review to commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead commissioning activities, ensuring all systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS, security, etc.) are fully tested and validated.
• After commissioning, oversee daily facility operations, preventive maintenance, and vendor management.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive end-to-end Data Center project delivery experience
• Will come from a client-side background (look at all of the usual owner/operators in the USA)
• Should be comfortable working autonomously on fast paced construction projects
