CSA Cost Engineer – US, Texas – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences With extensive experience delivering advanced data centre developments, our client has become a trusted delivery partner for leading technology organisations. As one of largest and most established general contractors in the Pacific Northwest, they are seeking a CSA Cost Engineer to support their large scale project based in Texas, US.
What you’ll deliver:
- Manage and maintain project cost reporting, including budgets, forecasts, commitments, contingencies, procurement tracking, cost authorisations, and monthly reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyse project expenditure, tracking costs across bid packages, change orders, field directives, and client-defined cost categories to ensure financial accuracy.
- Produce project controls and reporting dashboards, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), visual reports, and cost metrics to support project decision-making.
- Support estimating and procurement activities, including material take-offs, quantity verification, interpretation of technical and construction documents, and validation of subcontractor and supplier cost proposals.
Experience required:
- Extensive construction estimating experience required.
- Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.
- LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
