Construction Manager - Germany, Frankfurt - 12 Month Initial Contract

Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join their current project in Frankfurt. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.

What you'll do:
  • Lead, implement and review on site safety management procedures to ensure compliance to all mandatory and industry standards.
  • Lead the safety management process in construction, design, and handover to operations teams
  • Identify, track, pursue and close out business and project risks
  • Identify, track, and pursue opportunities to innovate design, de-risk programme, manage budget and project quality delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local permitting and government/local authority/statutory regulations
What you'll need:
  • Data Centre colocation experience is a must
  • Requires extensive experience working on a datacentre project
  • Experience of working on a live operational data centre facility
  • MEP expertise (mech or electrical is ok, but mechanical is preferred)
  • Experience of working on CRAH and Hybrid coolers / HVAC systems is highly beneficial
  • The ideal candidate will have strong management experience and will have previously experience managing the GC / contractor teams
  • German experience is a must
  • German language is beneficial, but not essential
