Project Engineer

Project Engineer - Waterford, Ireland - 12 Month Contract

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global healthcare product manufacturer who are the leaders in the production of over-the-counter medicines? Our client, responsible for the development of a number of key and revolutionary products and with a thriving global presence is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join their new project based near Waterford. 

What you'll do:

• Deliver capital projects up to £5M, ensuring alignment with site engineering, quality, and safety standards.
• Drive detailed design activities, coordinating with internal engineering teams, operations, quality, EHS, and external vendors.
• Manage project execution phases including procurement, installation, construction oversight, and commissioning.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reporting.

What you'll need:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
• Extensive experience delivering engineering or capital projects within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, validation documentation, and pharma project governance.
• Proven experience in detailed design, construction, installation, and commissioning.
