Utilities SME - County Westmeath, Ireland - 12 Months Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Utilities SME to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support designs and specify utility systems and equipment for new installations and upgrades.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of utility systems.
  • Develop strategies, standards, specifications and SOP’s for various systems.
  • Support the handover of systems to implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for utility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to utility systems.
  • Monitor utility system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of utility system operations and maintenance activities.
  • Develop strategies to implement good energy management systems.
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse energy consumption data.
  • Ensure compliance with energy-related regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to utility systems.
  • Maintain environmental compliance.
  • Support the management of utility-related projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide regular project status updates.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, operations, and maintenance teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in root cause analysis investigations
