Technical Writer – Ohio – Contract- Pharmaceutical

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Writer  to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and draft critical project documents, including project delivery strategies, procurement plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and engineering documents.
  • Take ownership of the writing process for all technical and engineering-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Ensure all documents follow the established writing style and format specific to the organization or project.
  • Write and maintain the Basis of Design and Basis of Schedule documents, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to gather input and ensure all technical details are correctly documented in procurement plans and RFPs.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical writing or document control, preferably within engineering, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of engineering documents, including procurement plans, RFPs, Basis of Design, and Basis of Schedule.
  • Proven ability to develop, write, and manage technical documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with document control systems and managing document workflows, including version control, review, and approval processes.
