Our client is a hugely successful project management consultancy that help global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They are currently looking for Senior Commissioning Manager to manage the design, planning, and construction of construction projects. This will include assisting with contract documents, using your knowledge and technical skills to research and create plans for projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing the necessary certificates for handover to client and witness testing and associated documentation, as required.
- Oversee maintenance and installation works
- Monitoring the works and providing reports as necessary as to project status.
- Management of small teams
- Testing/Commissioning of LV/HV Switchgear.
- ensuring health, safety and quality standards are met
- Supervising of contractors
- Risk Management
- Carry out and record site risk assessments.
- Ensure method statements are communicated, understood, acknowledged, and followed.
- Ensure Permit to Work systems are implemented effectively and correctly.
- Progress reporting
- Attend commissioning meetings.
- Stakeholder management
- Monitoring costs
- Attend regular client meetings
Skills & Attributes
- Positive stakeholder management and engagement
- 3+ years commissioning management experience
- Knowledge of relevant commissioning software
- Degree in Engineering or similar
- Experienced in LV/HV Switchgear systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Project management skills
- A sound understanding of safety protocols., with SMSTS.
- Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.
