Project Scheduling Professional  - Wisconsin, United States - 48 Months Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Scheduling Professional to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Wisconsin, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze the schedules submitted by workstream schedulers, consultants and contractors 
  • Lead workshops with client, workstream schedulers, consultant, and contractors to develop coordinated schedules and recovery schedules where applicable 
  • Generate critical milestones for the construction stage for inclusion in tender documents through detailed discussions with the project team, evaluation of interfaces between buildings/infrastructure 
  • Evaluate the schedules submitted during tender 
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and other ad hoc reports 
  • Evaluate extension of time claims, including concurrent delay and make appropriate recommendations to the project director 
  • Estimate time impact of changes.
  • Manage schedulers assigned to the program 
  • Evaluate the timing of logistics plans submitted by the contractor or prepared by the Construction Manager 
  • Provides input for earned value management 
  • Resolve scheduling issues with key stakeholders 
Skills and Experience:
  • Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in an appropriate Engineering discipline
  • ExtensiveF relevant experience, in pharmaceutical sector preferred
  • Excellent Primavera P6 skills 
  • Fully conversant with forms of contract, competent in financial and contractual matters 
  • Understand and be able to apply resourcing and cost to schedule activities 
  • Must be pro-active, adaptable, and able to motivate team members 
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills 
  • Must be a self-starter and possess leadership qualities
