Project Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Copenhagen 

Our client, a global healthcare company that specialises in diabetes care, are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. Founded in 1923, the company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative diabetes medications.


Responsibilities:
  • Providing oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
  • Providing project planning (scheduling) support to the project team.
  • Manage the project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensuring that project schedules are developed.
  • Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
  • Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood, and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
  • Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.

Experience:
  • Extensive knowledge of the software tool Primavera and MS Project.
  • Experience in planning of large CAPEX projects in multi-discipline teams.
  • Need to be senior enough to be independent - 5+ years project management experience, and ideally some industry experience if possible. 
  • Experience of delivering the schedule for projects.
  • Planning responsibility through lifecycle covering Detailed design, Construction and CQV to handover.
  • Working within a multi-disciplined project management matrix organisation.
  • Experience of planning large scale pharmaceutical construction projects would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English language.
