Project Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - North Carolina - 12-Month Contract+

The company work together to accelerate research, solve complex analytical challenges, improve patient diagnostics, drive laboratory productivity and produce life-saving treatments for patients.


Responsibilities and Requirements: 
  • Assisting in the management and execution of pharmaceutical engineering projects, ensuring project activities align with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Providing technical support in the design and development of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensuring project activities comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA, cGMP, and ISO, by supporting documentation and validation efforts.
  • Contributing to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within manufacturing operations.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, validation protocols, and progress reports.
  • Coordinating with external vendors and contractors to ensure deliverables meet project specifications and timelines, under the guidance of senior engineers or project managers.
  • Supporting the development of project budgets and resource plans, helping to forecast and allocate resources effectively.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during project execution, collaborating with senior team members to ensure minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
  • Working closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
  • Assisting in training and developing junior team members and stakeholders on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
  • Supporting risk assessments and helping to implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to support continuous improvement and innovation in project execution.
