Project Engineer – Pharmaceuticals – 12 Month Contract – County Westmeath

Are you looking for the chance to join a life changing pharmaceutical organisation in their mission to continuously drive innovation? We are recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the Capital Projects team on site.

Located in the picturesque Irish midlands, the area oozes culture and tranquillity; catching the folk music performances around is a focal point of entertainment, making this one-of-a-kind facility one of the leading places to work. 


Your responsibilities as a Project Engineer:
  • Designing and Managing the full project plan lifecycle of the assigned Projects.
  • Leading the project team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain budgetary, scheduling and project database oversight and report regularly to the Snr. Engineering Projects Manager to keep her informed of progress, plans and problems that could potentially impact project costs or schedule
  • Manage compliance and Regulatory requirements
  • Provide engineering support for all activities including new equipment and new product introductions

Provide Qualification and Validation support 
  • Extensive relevant experience working in a technical engineering role in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry.
  • Experience of Upstream / Downstream drug substance and Clinical processes would be an advantage
  • Experience in pharmaceutical processes is an advantage
  • A relevant degree
  • Previous Project Management & CQV experience
