Process Scientist - Ireland - 11 months + Possible Extensions

Do you want to be involved with exciting Pharmaceutical projects?

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Process Scientist.

This a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the critical investment projects both on-site and remotely.


About the role:
  • Supporting and executing experimental design, data analysis and interpretation to resolve complex cell culture deviations.
  • Supporting process improvement and troubleshooting with end-to-end product focus.
  • Provide technical support investigations, new process introduction or change implementation in commercial manufacturing operations.
  • Authoring and reviewing development operating procedures and technical reports.

Must haves:
  • 0-3 years’ experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry (preferably practical experience of cell culture processing).
  • Experience in drug substance process development, process characterisation studies, mammalian cell technology, biochemistry, cell biology, fluid mechanics and process modelling.
  • Experience in executing experimental programs in the laboratory.
