Planner - Switzerland, Zurich - 12 Months Contract

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Planner. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.  

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare fully resource and cost loaded schedules
  • Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning
  • Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading of those activities
  • Project Portfolio Planning and Scheduling:
  • Maintain construction project plans and schedules for multiple data centre projects concurrently.
  • Utilise advanced scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to create and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to monitor the allocation of essential resources, such as materials, equipment, and manpower, across various projects.
  • Identify resource optimisation opportunities and propose strategies to enhance efficiency and meet aggressive project timelines.
  • Risk Assessment and Proactive Mitigation
Requirements:
  • Construction scheduling /planning experience required 
  • Open to candidates with any experience in mission critical projects e.g. oil & gas, data centres, pharmaceuticals
  • Local experience in Switzerland would be beneficial
