Piping Manager - Germany, Frankfurt - 12 Months Initial Contract 

Are you a Piping Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 12 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Piping Manager. With growth plans to almost double their already huge turnover, there could not be a better time to join!

Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of piping materials, codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API), and fabrication standards.
  • Familiarity with isometric drawings, P&IDs, and spool drawings.
  • Experience in managing spool fabrication, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, and painting/coating.
  • Knowledge of shop floor operations and prefabrication workflows.
  • Ability to plan and schedule prefabrication activities.
  • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Budgeting and cost control skills.
  • CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SmartPlant).
  • ERP systems for material tracking and inventory (e.g., SAP).
Requirements:
  • The ability to be based onsite full time
  • Experience within major capex projects
  • Extensive experience in this level role or similar
