Piping Engineer - Paris - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Piping Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming french location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.


Responsibilities:
  • Being part of the tendering team, with the General Contractor, requesting proposals from mechanical installation contractors etc.
  • Support General Contractor in development of the Piping design supervision/guidance/review.
  • Participate and report all scope changes or trends that may cause an impact to the work package.
  • Manage and evaluate status reports regarding design and construction progress.
  • Scout, onboard, manage and supervise piping engineer resources for the piping team.
  • Manage electronic and hard-copy data files administration in client systems and archives.
  • Installation supervision and collaboration with client commissioning team.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in engineering.
  • Proven experience (5 years) within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • French Ideally. However, If they are Irish/ European with the right experience they will consider.
  • Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • French and Speaking English is a nice to have however not a deal breaker.
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  •  Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organising and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, local vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.
  • Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
  • Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
