Mechanical Engineer – Pharmaceuticals – Denmark – 12-month contract

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity in Denmark? Quanta has the role for you!

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.


Responsibilities:
  • Establish the Engineering Requirements for the mechanical systems for the project
  • Prepare design and specify components required
  • Participate in FAT / SAT
  • Complete mechanical installation tasks
  • Follow up on contractors and report
  • Equipment experience to include the likes of heat exchangers, vessels, valves, etc.
  • Work in close partnership with the Management Team in Mechanical, Instrumentation & Validation
  • Support the competence development of the department to reflect market and technology development

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior mechanical engineering role
  • Experience acting as a Work Package Owner is a plus (not a necessity)
  • Proven experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry
  • Degree in engineering within mechanical, chemistry/production engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP and GEP)
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bring people together around a common purpose
  • Are result-oriented, have a well-structured work approach
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
