Mechanical Construction Manager - Data Centre - Paris, France - 20-Month Contract

Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their current project in the Netherlands. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems. 


Responsibilities and Requirements: 
  • 5 years+ experience in the construction sector
  • French and English speaking
  • Experience on large scale mission critical construction projects, data centres, pharma, oil and gas or semi-conductor
  • In depth knowledge of general construction building, M&E works, and local authority approval process.
  • Client or contractor background
  • MEP, mechanical or electrical bias is essential
  • Strong people and contractor management skills
  • Health and Safety legislation in particular CDM Regulations.
  • Ability to recognise quality workmanship on all levels of building construction
  • Substantial experience of working in the European data centre and/or construction/ engineering industry.
  • Delivery of large capital expenditure projects with a high dependence on M&E.
  • Ideal candidate is a driven and hungry electrical / mechanical construction manager who is looking to develop their career within an expanding client
  • On site 5 days a week but agile working around hours and start and finish times
