Lead Electrical Engineer - Italy, Milan - 9 Months Contract

Are you a Lead Electrical Engineer looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Milan on an initial 9 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Lead Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities:
  • Create the detailed engineering of instrumentation and controls as well as automation systems in high-tech facilities within the Data Centre industry
  • Clarify technical details in close collaboration with our clients during plant modifications or expansions and present our solutions
  • Prepare detailed execution documents (e.g. drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for the procurement of installation and planning services and clarify any questions that arise during the execution phase
  • Oversee budget, quality, and schedule requirements
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure the highest execution quality, as well as compliance with safety, health and environmental protection requirements
  • Manage and coordinate interfaces, ensuring a reliable flow of information both internally and externally
Requirements:
  • Experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of measurement and control technology systems
  • Familiarity with PC programs and MS Office applications
  • Previous experience in Large Scale Construction Projects, ideally have experience in the field of high-tech facilities, such as in data centres, semiconductors or BioPharma
  • Familiarity with relevant technical standards, regulations and codes
