Lead Delta-V Engineer – Ireland – Contract

Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects?

We are searching for a Lead Delta-V Engineer to work with a valued pharmaceutical partner, based in Clonmel. This role will work within the DeltaV Center of Excellence to provide technical guidance, lead sub teams, implement proof of concepts, and consult in all aspects of DeltaV.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Work within the DeltaV Center of Excellence to provide technical guidance, lead sub teams, implement proof of concepts, and consult in all aspects of DeltaV.
  • Support site operational automation team in their day to day challenges of operating DeltaV for all aspects of lifecycle management.
  • Work closely with the business, IT technical staff, other engineering groups to collaborate in delivery high operational efficiency to this key asset.
  •  Collaborate with suppliers, Emerson directly as well as other solution partners, to ensure a cohesive technology roadmap is in place.
Desirable Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science is preferred.
  • Extensive manufacturing or related experience is required.
  • Experience with DeltaV process automation system including demonstrated experience with solution delivery system configuration for as well as strong familiarity with the system architecture.
  • Experience with DeltaV process automation system lifecycle management activities.
