IT Infrastructure Engineer - Leiden, Netherlands - 8-Month Contract 

Are you local to the Netherlands and would you like to join a leading biopharmaceutical company in their mission to make a difference, changing lives through their scientific pursuits? Our client, a discoverer and developer of innovative medicines, are recruiting for a IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their brand-new build cell therapy project on a 8 month contractual basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration of digital plant systems including DeltaV, Syncade, ThinManager and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Support the management of the network infrastructure
  • Perform change activities to ensure appropriate system content/structure
  • Proactively investigate, design, configure and test solutions to a variety of technical problems

Requirements:
  • Experience in information technology (IT)/automation systems with a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies including network architecture, resilience, cyber security, storage technology, databases, and hosting concepts
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Hyper-V Manager, Failover Cluster and Microsoft licensing is required
  • Knowledge of process automation system is beneficial
  • Core competencies include, communication skills, problem-solving, flexibility to react to changing business needs, ability to meet deadlines and a commitment to self-development
