Industrial Engineer – Ohio – Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Industrial Engineer to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and improve system specifications for black utilities, particularly chilled water, air handlers, plant steam, compressed air, and HVAC systems
  • Lead the design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and training activities for black utilities as the system owner/expert
  • Provide technical support for site project execution, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices
  • Ensure all Quality and Environmental regulations are met within your area of responsibility
  • Support the technical development of Facilities Technicians and oversee maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Engineering experience in a manufacturing facility, with specific expertise in black utility systems, including chilled water, air handlers, plant steam, compressed air, vacuum, wastewater, cryogenic storage, and HVAC systems
  • Proven ownership or direct experience with the design, operation, and maintenance of black utilities in a cGMP-regulated environment (FDA, cGMP, OSHA)
